On Friday, June 13, 2008 our agents and staff closed their office doors to provide service to a charitable organization in the community. Armed with paint equipment, 20+ members of our organization provided a much-needed facelift to the dining hall of Martha’s Kitchen in San Jose. Martha’s Kitchen, which operates from a facility tied to Sacred Heart Church, prepares over 180,000 meals from the facility each year and provides hot meals to the local homeless community twice a week. Edita Cruz, Executive Director of Martha’s Kitchen was elated with the fresh clean look of the dining hall, pleased that it will enhance their annual fundraising event in the fall.

Windermere Silicon Valley Properties gratefully acknowledges the Kelly Moore paint store in Gilroy for donating the paint for the project and thanks to Windermere agent Michael Angulo, for supplying all the painting equipment.
